It's just so much more convenient than other layouts. As of now, I also don't even need to lift my wrist to increase/decrease volume, start/pause something, arrow keys, etc. On that note, QK60 might also be really good for you because using their QMK software, you can remap the second layer of your keyboard for media. I'm not saying everyone will like the HHKB layout, but for those who appreciate smaller sized keyboard, I'd think that's a good sign you'll like it, and you seem like one. I guess its useful, I mean, when press and release Fn key it change layout and then no need to holding fn for keys that needed to hold fn. I'd even dare say to be careful with the HHKB layout, since once you get used to it, it will be difficult to move away from it, and there's not a lot of keyboards with HHKB layout out there. I play competitive so the gaming functionality is important.

Oh and you will also appreciate the closer positioning of the backspace to your ring finger, since you will use it much more often than the backslash. hey guys Im in the market for a new keyboard. Does anyone here have any experience using it for such I know that control placement can be an issue but can anyone speak on their experience I'm intrigued by its different layout but also because of its topre swtiches. I have a small hand and short fingers, too, so I find HHKB is very convenient and comfortable because I don't need to move my wrist at all when typing, since everything is reachable and also the fn button on my right pinky does most of the magic (volume, brightness, arrow keys, etc) - I only need to rotate my wrist left and right but it never leaves the wrist rest except when I need the mouse. I want an HHKB layout keyboard but not an HHKB because I don’t like topre, and want aluminum. HHKB for gaming Was considering getting a HHKB for typing but primarily for gaming.

I got myself a HHKB as my first mechanical keyboard, and now I can't seem to get used to other layouts (my second one is a Keychron Q4, but I remapped the layout to be similar to HHKB).
